The rooftop terrace was amazing. The area was easily accessible to good restaurants. The kitchen was well organized and easy place to prepare food. Ramiro was a warm and kind host. We didn’t want to leave!

Muy tranquilo, el lugar esta lejos del centro pero muy accesible, en coche son 5 a 10 minutos por el empedrado. Pero la zona muy tranquila, el alojamiento super bien, con todo lo necesario.

very nice place about 1 mile uphill from city center. my wife and I walked to and from town daily during our 5 week long stay but typically would rely on Uber after dark which was pretty available and cost effective ranging from 50 to 90 pesos and averaging probably 70 depending on demand. I worked remotely from here without any notable interruptions to internet speed or reliability. we also used the gym daily which is quite nice and clean. lots of hills here in the complex, part of your workout is just getting to the gym. the hosts are very responsive to messages and requests. visiting in the winter months, it got pretty cold and the space heaters they provided were nice to have we don't have anything to complain about, and feel like we got good value for our money. I would recommend if walking / hiking is not a challenge for you, peace and seclusion is appreciated, cleanliness and accommodations are important and safety of a gated community is desired.

Highly recommend this centrally located property, it is downhill 5 blocks from the center square of town and walkable within 10min to a market, multiple coffee shops and restaurants. Host was responsive and helpful, and we arrived late at night with no issues. Would not recommend cooking here however as the cookware is poorly maintained and only salt/pepper/oil. This is also not a tiny house, it's a full townhome (3bd/5bath!) with multiple levels and many stairs, each bedroom had it's own minisplit (heat/cool) which is fantastic), a beautiful upper level covered patio and hot tub area that was the highlight for me. Private parking pad and daily maid clean up are perks. Very lovely town and very safe location. Would stay again!

First time in San Miguel de Allende . House was perfect for our group as everyone had their own bathroom and space . Short Uber drive to Centro where there is so much to do and see. Anne was always responsive to our needs and requests . Definitely recommend .

Adiós, Guanajuato. Disfrutamos de una estancia excelente y muy agradable en una casa hermosa, impecable y acogedora, tal como se describe en las fotos. Cada rincón reflejaba cuidado y buen gusto, lo que hizo que nos sintiéramos como en casa. Sin duda, un lugar al que nos encantaría volver.

La casa es muy bonita y vale totalmente la pena por el precio. Sin duda regresaríamos!

We had a fantastic time in San Miguel de allende. We were in town for a wedding and Ginny's place has beautiful patio, pool, living room for all 13 of us to congregate. We used her recommendation for a chef to prepare a meal for us and it was delicious and very easy. We stayed in the casita and let the children/grandchildren stay in the main house. the town center was 10 minute walk with many restaurants and a grocery store was 5 minutes away. We did have groceries delivered before we checked in which was perfect and affordable!

Our stay at Casa Chaparrita was wonderful! The location is ideal. Not only is it a short walk to Jardin Allende, and all the action there, but it’s also a short walk to Guadalupe (don’t miss the murals), and an equally short walk to San Antonio, where many of the music venues are. The house is on a relatively quiet street with good security. The design is as described, a blend of modern New York loft with traditional Mexican art and artifacts. Everything was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The main bedroom/bath on the second floor is spacious and luxurious (and includes a TV), and while the second main bedroom/bath on the third floor is smaller, it opens onto the beautiful terrace. In the well-equipped kitchen, a bottled water dispenser is provided with plenty of refills. Stacey was attentive and responsive. Highly recommend.

Without a doubt one of the best hosts I’ve had. The property was absolutely beautiful and had everything my family and I needed for our two week stay. Armando was very accommodating with any requests I had. Without a doubt I would stay again at his place. Located close enough to any place we wanted to go to. Hopefully we will come back soon enough. This was a fabulous location to stay in in SMA. My family of 13 was so comfortable; plenty of room. The place was absolutely gorgeous. Rosario and her sister Lolita took care of every need. Rosario‘s cooking was amazing we only got to have dinner one night because we had so many plans but the morning breakfasts were fabulous And always a supply of chips and salsa during the day for anyone to snack on. I 100% would recommend this place to anyone visiting San Miguel de Allende . five days was not enough! Many of my guests did walk to and from town but others chose to Uber/taxi and that was very easy. We did some wonderful hiking tours , music tours , ATV excursions and lots of fun shopping and fantastic restaurants. We were visiting for a family wedding but I would certainly go back. Thank you Nancy for offering this fabulous location and thank you to Rosario for making us feel so welcome.

La pasamos muy agosto..se disfruta mucho la casa, la alberca y el jardín. muy seguro el fraccionamiento. muy amable José Luis y siempre atento a las consultas y apoyos que se requieren.

Siempre hubo muy buena comunicación con el anfitrion, fue muy amable y flexible con nuestro horario de llegada. El lugar muy bien, la casa excelente. La alberca a una excelente temperatura, ampliamente recomendable. Maravilloso que nos ofrecio la llegada a las 9 am y la salida a las 7 pm. pocas opciones así.

Sin duda, este alojamiento para mí ha sido uno de los mejores en los que he estado. El lugar está perfectamente bien diseñado, cualquier amenidad que te imagines, este lugar lo tiene. Es cómodo, tiene un diseño hermoso, buena ubicación, etc… Alex ha sido para mí, el mejor anfitrión que he conocido en Airbnb, en todo momento estuvo pendiente, ha sido muy amable al dejarnos quedar tiempo extra en el alojamiento. Este lugar ha sido inigualable y espero volver siempre Gracias por todo, Alex

Fantastic place right in the heart of San Miguel, but far enough from Centro to be peaceful. It's even more spacious and beautiful than the pictures--highly recommend for anyone visiting San Miguel!
