Join us for a Historical True Crime Tour of the Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego. You will walk through several eras in time as you explore interesting stories of true crime. You will also learn the darker history of the Gaslamp Quarter, the area formerly known as the Stingaree. We will dive into the fascinating history of downtown San Diego, from its earliest days to the notorious era of the Stingaree. Hear the haunting tale of a gambler's untimely demise at a historic hotel, with rumors of his ghost still lingering in his room. Then, we'll take you back to the roaring 1920s, a time of murder, revenge and slavery in San Diego. Discover the story of the third victim of a notorious serial killer and uncover one of the most horrific crimes to occur in Downtown San Diego. * Please note due to the graphic nature of these murder cases we advise extreme caution for children under 16. This tour includes discussion of assault, rape, mutilation, murder, along with gruesome details that some may find offensive. Other things to note: - This tour is handicap accessible. - You will walk approximately 1 mile. - No food or drinks are served during the tour. - Tips are appreciated.

We are happy to introduce you to the 60-minute Glow Boat Experience on pedal boats, a romantic night date idea in San Diego Bay! The boat illuminates 360 degrees inside and outside, and riding it after dark is a lot of fun. To complete your experience, a speaker and a small disco ball will make your boat rock'n'roll. Our crew will guide you through Night Bay to ensure you feel safe and know where to go. On an average night, we have a group of 12 boats and two boats with our crew. We will start at America's Cup Harbor, and after short pedaling, you will find yourself in San Diego Bay with a beautiful Night view of Downtown. We will play music, cruise around, and enjoy the skyline. The experience will end at the same location where it started. Pedal boats can accommodate up to 3 adults (600lb maximum weight). No experience is necessary to maneuver these pedal boats; you are good to go if you can ride a bike! You will stay dry all the time! Our staff will take care of you and make sure you enjoy your pedal boat ride with us from start to finish. Each group will get their personal pedal boat or a couple of boats, depending on group size.

We will begin our classes with teaching everyone how to make pasta from scratch: ravioli, spaghetti, tagliatelle! We provide also a vegan alternative with dough without eggs. You will learn how to do 3 types of long pasta, 3 of short, and 4 different kind of ravioli. You can take this knowledge with you to your own kitchen with a copy of our recipes for you.

Join me on a journey through one of San Diego's most iconic places! Since this park is large, we will be touring the major sites with the wind in our hair on electric scooters. No walking required ;) We will start by going over the basic operation of the scooters & getting comfortable riding in a quiet area of the park. From there, we will start our adventure! I will guide you through each section of Balboa sharing my unique knowledge of the park, stopping for photos along the way. The first stop will be the botanical building & lily pond where we will pause for some pictures. Next, we will briefly cruise to the entrance to the San Diego Zoo before heading to the Spanish Village Arts Center. We will then scoot to the Morton Bay Fig Tree. It's then time to ride down the iconic El Prado passing fountains & museums along the way. After a quick stop, we will head past the International cottages on our way to the air & space museum. We will wrap up at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion before heading back to where we started. If you want to see Balboa park in a unique way with a local guide, then this is the tour for you! Note: Tips are not required but are always appreciated :)

La Jolla Bay is a Marine Protected Area that is home to a thriving ecosystem that boasts a high concentration of sea life, has a natural boat launch, which allows safe ocean entry year-round, and is famous for its Sea Caves and Marine Reserve. No experience is required. Great for all skill levels. Your guide will kick things off with a paddle tutorial on the beach. If surf exists, we will help push your kayak through any breakers. As we paddle through La Jolla’s Marine Reserve keep an eye out for Seals, Sea Lions, Sea Turtles, Pelicans, Dolphin and Gray whales in the fall/winter. Note: We cannot guarantee sea life. If conditions are safe, we will help guide your kayak into Emerald Cave. If it's not safe to enter Emerald Cave, we will still paddle out & explore La Jolla's World-Famous Marine Reserve. Note: if not safe we WILL NOT enter the Emerald Cave, we don't cancel if the cave isn't safe and spend about a minute inside. La Jolla Bay is an Uncontrollable Environment. Welcome to our little farm! We're so excited to share what life on a urban farm is like. To start, we will greet you at the front of our house. Please let us know if you're afraid of dogs because our dog is friendly but quite big. Then, we'll take you out back to the farm where you'll be able to meet and play amongst the goats. We'll either be waking up the goats in the morning or bringing them back inside for bedtime. As this is a hands on experience, you may want to bring clothes that you don't mind dirtying. While here, you can play and cuddle with the goats, and I'll share more about how to take care of them. Being a goat owner is so much fun and I am happy to share more with you. You can feed them, play with them, cuddle them. We also do have a bunch of chickens, and many of them lay awesome, naturally coloured eggs. You are welcome to collect and purchase some of these eggs while you are visiting. If you'd like, you can bring apples, carrots (a few) or goat treats (found at a feed store), but we also have a few snacks to share with you! Other things to note: Please bring clothes and shoes that are allowed to get dirty. If you want to book another time or during the week, please send me a message/request! I can mostly accomendate :) Goats might "nibble" on you and your clothes, shoestrings or hair. The Dog might jump and "hug" you. Please be aware of that :)

Join us on a jaw-dropping picnic overlooking the dramatic coastline of Sunset Cliffs. Sitting 300 ft above sea level on golden carved out sandstone, overlooking the deep blues and greens of the Pacific Ocean, with cozy seating, ample shade, a deluxe meal, and intimate connection. This location is special because it is more private and awe-inspiring compared to other picnics. You will arrive at the picnic location and be greeted by your host, who will walk you down a trail for around 5-7 minutes to your fully set up picnic. This trail is accessible for beginners but does involve uneven terrain, so good balance and footing is helpful. Once you sit down upon the plush seating, you will be able to soak up the incredible views of this location. Your menu offerings of choice will already be elegantly spread along the table, ready for your enjoyment. This location is a hidden gem and we are very excited to share this slice of paradise with you. We are happy to take photos of you at the picnic, and to show you further trails and secret beach access points, all visible and accessible from the location of this experience, so you can explore like a local. Once your picnic concludes, your host will walk you back to the parking lot, leaving you with treasurable memories.

This tour features: 1/4 mile of rocky coastline 3+ major cave sets Duration: 2.5-3+ hours Terrain includes tide pools, ocean waters, rocky shores, remote beaches and more. These are physical adventures suitable for hikers with moderate experience. Having proper footwear is important. I highly recommend shoes with excellent traction that are ok to get wet, typical water shoes are not appropriate. Be prepared to get wet above your knees, possibly above your waist. The first stop will be the beautiful Tidelands Park just across the Coronado Bridge where we will take a few pictures. Next, we spend some time exploring the Ferry Landing which has shops, restaurants, & a great view of the downtown skyline. We will then ride across the island through quaint neighborhoods checking out the lavish houses along the way. Once we've made it across the island it's time to stop and see the historic Hotel Del Coronado, the island's crown jewel. You will have some time to explore & walk the property. We will wrap up by riding the beautiful waterfront bike path back to where we started. Your visit with Bike & Kayak Tours, Inc. will begin at our storefront, located just two short blocks from the beach. Once properly outfitted for your adventure with lifejackets and helmets, we will walk down to the La Jolla shores beach. Select the last time available each day and enjoy the Caves Kayak Tour at sunset! Once down on the beach we will begin our paddle instruction where you will learn how to paddle the kayak efficiently and comfortably, before our beach crew assists us out through the surf. On our way to the caves you will learn all about the wildlife that is found in La Jolla, which is home to an ecological reserve boasting three different types of habitats. Keeping an eye out for wildlife, we will then make our way to the sea caves where you will learn the geological history of how the seven sea caves were formed. Note: If we determine that the water conditions are unsafe to enter the Clam's Cave you will be provided with a voucher to enter the only land accessible cave called Sunny Jim's cave. Other things to note Please arrive 30-40 minutes prior to your tour time. Dress prepared to get wet and have a great time. 12.5% service and maintenance fee will be charged at check-in.

Join me in the land of miniatures. You will learn how and get to create tiny pottery on a mini pottery wheel. No previous pottery experience necessary! Overlooking a beautiful canyon with vistas of mountains east of San Diego, you will experience the green of fruit trees and birdsong, in this relaxing indoor outdoor art studio. This experience includes clay, glazing and firing of the clay. You will get to choose one color of glaze per pot. The clay cannot be taken home at the time of the class because it must be kiln fired. The turn around is about a week for drying, glazing, and firing. If you are visiting from out of town, I will be able to ship it to you for a minimum of $10/box. If you are local, I will contact you to know when they are ready to pick up. Depending on your location, we can also set up a time to meet up so I can get you back your miniature creations.
