We stayed for a friend’s birthday and it was a lovely cottage in the most perfect location. The place was lovely and peaceful on a night time. We had lovely walks on the beach, visited the market and shopping area and had a lovely meal at Riley’s Fish Shack. The cottage was in walking distance to everything. Just perfect from start to finish.

Lovely upper two floor flat opposite park. Huge living room with views over the park and sea beyond. Lots of space and had everything we needed. Plenty to do around and 15 minute walk to metro to get into Newcastle.

A wonderful Cottage - clean, spacious, comfortable. Very helpful hosts with clear instructions and attention to detail. Wonderful views of Pele Tower to the front and the sea to the back. The local beach is a few steps away and is beautiful. Overall a superb Airbnb and very dog friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Joannes home! It is so perfectly located to do all we wanted to - seaglass hunting!! Huge benefit to have the parking spot on the front drive. Also huge bonus to be in walking distance to ammenities - asda, pharmacy, home shops and food outlets. Everything we needed was here - a home away from home. The tea/cake/milk was a kind touch. Comfy, clean bright airy base. Comfy sofa and bed. Really well decorated and maintained, lovely colour schemes and accents - nothing has been overlooked. Joanne was an attentive host with friendly communication. Wouldn't hesitate to come back if we are ever up North again. Thank you so much!

A smart, stylish, well appointed, immaculate and very comfortable house in which to stay with plentiful heating, hot water and splendid view across the beach of Newbiggin. Nancy was keen to ensure that our stay was enjoyable and provided all that we needed.

A lovely well maintained property that is exactly as shown and described. The property is in a perfect spot with the beach opposite and a couple of cafes or further restaurants and bars about 10 minutes walk away. The property has a fantastic host, who is fast to respond to messages or queries. Highly recommend it, definitely will be returning in future.

Myself, Mum and 5 year old son just stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely break! David is a responsive and thoughtful host, replying quickly, arranging for the heating to be on for arrival and even leaving lovely treats for us to enjoy! The place is absolutely spotless, super clean and well organised, it has everything you'd need for a short stay. Would definitely recommend! We ventured to Cresswell Beach and White House Farm in Morpeth which is a must if you have little ones. Lovely memories made... as well as some sand castles!

Superb location, beautiful sea views and stunning sun rises both days of our stay! Immaculately clean with everything we could need, and really well stocked! The heating system was fantastic which is a must in the winter months! Would definitely stay here again during the summer time the kids absolutely loved it!

We booked the caravan the morning we needed it as should have been staying elsewhere but due to illness we couldn’t, so booked in a hurry but everything was so easy and we were very impressed with everything about our stay, our grandsons thought it was wonderful, can’t fault anything and definitely worth a 5 star

What a beautiful view of the sea, caravan was lovely. Bed was so comfy, the location was great, nice and quiet. Will definitely recommend.

We had a relaxing stay at Pebbles. Situated in a very picturesque park overlooking the sea and the wind turbines which I felt were quite mesmerising! The park itself has everything you need from entertainment, pool and restaurants. The beach was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the rock pools and scenery. Lots to do in the area especially if you like castles and history. We would recommend a stay at Pebbles.

Another great stay at the lodge. Welcome pack was much appreciated. The views are beautiful. Great to be able to sit out and have breakfast with the uninterrupted view of the beach. The lodge has everything you could possibly need. Anne is great at responding when needed. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

Absolutely gorgeous caravan . The lock box for the key isn't the easiest place to access if you have trouble bending or if the ground is wet This caravan is beautiful, fantastic location, parking space and its at the quieter end of the park. I would highly recommend anyone to book with Christopher, he is a fantastic host and I would definitely stay again. Thanks Christopher

We absolutely loved our stay at Julie’s Caravan. The Caravan itself was so clean and very homely. The location was perfect, the sea view and the morning sunrise was beautiful. We loved it so much we didn’t want to go home. Definitely recommend and will be 100% booking again in the summer.

Very cosy home. Plenty of room, very comfortable sofas and bed. Lovely touch of fresh bread, croissants, milk and fruit. Instructions for TV etc were very clear and recommendations of where to eat were very helpful. The house was very near the beach area and also the Metro to Newcastle. We would definitely recommend this home for anyone visiting the area.

I cannot recommend this space or the hosts enough! It is such a peaceful, clean, welcoming, lovely place—and so close to the water! I loved my time at Elaine's place. The cleanliness is exceptional, so to was the host's friendliness! Elaine was beyond responsive and just incredibly kind. The space is very comfortable, has everything you need in the kitchen, INCLUDING goodies from Elaine. The bedroom has plenty of space for your things, black out curtains, and the living and bath areas sparkle with care. Highly recommend this air bnb.

We had a wonderful stay at Louis's place in Tynemouth. It is a large bright surf-themed flat in a fabulous location with sea views from both sides of the house. There are lots of stairs up to the top floor so not suitable for the infirm, but gives great views from the big windows overlooking the village green and beach - and could not hear any of the neighbours. The bedding and bathrooms were sparkly clean. Tynemouth is a beautiful village with a great surf beach - with lots of lovely bars and restaurants within walking distance. At the beach you can find yoga and pilates classes, cold water swimming, running clubs and surfing. Would highly recommended this for a short break or long holiday - plenty to do and see.

Vikki’s cottage is a real find. Spotless, beautifully finished and in a great location, just a few streets back from Longsands Beach. Vikki was a great host who was on hand for advice and kindly gave us an early check-in and late check-out. Tynemouth is also a seriously nice spot to visit with so many incredible places to eat. Our faves included Riley’s Fish Shack (we went twice) and Pranzo’s in Whitley Bay. We can’t wait for our next visit!

This was a truly wonderful place to stay. Felt like home as every little detail had been thought about and was really cosy. It was perfect for the 6 of us. Great location right next to the sea with wonderful sunrises strolling along the beach. Beautifully decorated and well kept accomodation. Close to some fabulous attractions. We enjoyed Woodhorn Colliery museum, saw dolphins at Newbiggin as the sun set, a fantastic boat trip to the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne from Seahouses, Warkworth Castle and beach, and a stop in Amble. Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts who kept in good communication throughout and were really helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this place to others looking for a base to explore Northumberland and all it has to offer.

Really nice flat with lovely views over Roker Pier and the North Sea. It was very cold when we were there but the flat was warm and cosy. Peter / Helen were very welcoming.

Lovely stay in an amazing place . Beautiful beaches , fun high street . Great access to the metro - easy trip into Newcastle . The apartment had everything needed and beyond . Just sad we didn’t have time to try Dil and the bear

An excellent location for enjoying the seafront and coastline, with wonderful views over Roker Pier. The apartment is very clean and very well equipped, and Karen is very easy to communicate with. We will be back again! Thank you Karen.
