This was my family’s second time staying at Martha’s for the holidays, and like last time, we had a lovely time. Martha was helpful and warm as always, and we enjoyed the peace, silence, and views.

My family and I enjoyed our short time at Robins home. The view was stunning. We even had a little snow on our arrival and that made it magical. The house was so clean and the beds were so comfortable. We had everything we needed to make a nice dinner for our family. The outdoor area and fire pit were perfect for a chilly evening. Robin was such a wonderful and welcoming host. We are looking forward to our next visit to Lexington in the near future!

Our stay at this historic home was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly communicative, ensuring that every detail of our visit was seamless. Upon arrival, we were welcomed into a beautifully kept home that radiates charm and history, dating back to the late 1800s. One of the many highlights of our stay was the thoughtful breakfast provisions, which lasted us throughout our entire visit—a true testament to the host’s generosity and hospitality. The home itself was spotless, well-maintained, and provided a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The property is also a haven for nature lovers. We were delighted to see deer right outside, adding to the peaceful and serene setting. The location was perfect for our trip to Liberty University for the CFAW event, making it both convenient and enjoyable. Overall, this was an exceptional stay, and we highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and unique place to stay.

Lovely stay in downtown Lexington. Cottage was well appointed and stocked with all necessities for a truly effortless stay. Location is perfect for walking to dining and campus events. I look forward staying again.

Was in town for a 4-day event at VMI. This place was in a great spot. Easy walk to VMI campus through downtown. It is about a mile. With some hills. If you can handle that, its so nice to not have to use your car.

Loved the place. Lot of extra touches you don't normally see. Welcome cards with mints, stocked for breakfast and other meals, treats for the dog, ect. Highly recommend.

My family of 4 stayed for 3 nights and the house was perfect. More than enough bedrooms & bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. The house was spotless and Xavier was a very responsive accommodating host. We will stay here again!

It was a perfect place, even for energetic children, plenty of room and separate places for hanging out and dining. Comfy stuffed chairs and comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped. The water pressure was a little low for showers. Everything worked fine. Hope to try it out in the summertime!

We really enjoyed our family gathering at Justin’s place! Easily accommodated the eleven of us. Comfortable and spacious! Highly recommend!

I had a great last minute getaway here and I agree with the other reviews, it’s so much better than the pictures give it credit for and was so comfortable with everything I needed. It is located adjacent to another property, it’s above the garage although only one or two steps if mobility is a concern for you, it’s very accessible. No one was using the other property so it was great to be alone. I had coffee on the front porch every morning as the deer came to say hi and listened to the beautiful soft (read very quiet) church bells in the distance on Sunday morning and watched as the sun rose over the trees. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Easy access to hikes with my dog we both enjoyed the yard. She would lie in the grass by the fire pit and we watched the sun set after a long day of hiking. I recommend bringing your food as I didn’t see too many restaurants, also I had cell service with both Verizon and T-Mobile. All in all a great place if you’re looking to escape!!

Location was great for Bath County. You'll need to either have a high clearance vehicle to ford the creek or walk over the foot bridge. The water smells like sulfur, but it didn't bother my family too much (bring your own water to drink like W&L recommend).

Great getaway, very spacious and the theater room was amazing! Rooms got a little cold but they provided space heaters which warmed them up pretty quickly. Spent most of the time at the fire pit. Very nice setting with lights and hammocks. Host is super quick to respond with any issues. Overall great experience, definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful setting! Fully stocked kitchen and comfortable sleeping arrangements. Tons of space for people and pets alike. For horse people this stay is a short 14 min drive to the Virginia Horse Center. Highly recommend all around!!

We had an amazing time! The cottage was clean, extremely stocked with lots of extras which was so nice. The views are incredible. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. They are close if you need anything but the house is very private. The adults, kid and dogs loved it! Hope to come back again!

Our stay at the house was great. It had everything listed, and we were able to bring anything else we needed to have a good stay. Our trip started on Christmas Eve, and Thomas had a Christmas tree delivered for us to put gifts for our 7 children under the tree for the next morning. That was such a blessing! We brought some kitchen items to help, but otherwise there was plenty of kitchen items to host a Christmas dinner. The house and property overall was in a great rural, peaceful location. It helped us connect with family in both Staunton and Salem, VA. The only minor things were just things expected of an older farm house. Nothing that kept us from having a great Christmas and time in a home away from home. Thank you!

Our stay at the Cozy Cabin was awesome! Beautiful location, beautiful cabin with attention to detail in every area. Shauna quickly responded with any questions we had. We would love to go back. 10/10!

We were in the area for a wedding at Big Spring Farm. Cochran’s place was just a short drive away. The location is very quiet and peaceful. The house is comfortable and well decorated with interesting artwork. The screened in porch is very nice. Wish we had had time to use the fire pit.
