Eagle Creek is a great weekend getaway! It is peaceful and relaxing. Quick and easy trip in to State College for a stroll downtown or to go to a game! We love the outside space and plenty of wood for the fire pit! The inside is homey and comfortable for a crowd! We had a wonderful time!

John and Ruthie were wonderful and well-seasoned hosts. Old fashioned country living.

Kevin and Robin were outstanding hosts in a beautiful and peaceful location. The room was great, the bed extremely comfortable and they made the entire stay an enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in an Airbnb. We were made to feel like family.

Great location! Perfectly located close to all of the major attractions in town with the convenience of an included parking space. We appreciated the 24 hour kitchen with coffee and snacks! Barbara was responsive to inquiries and readily available for information/assistance. It was quiet, quaint, and just the right space for our weekend getaway. My boyfriend also loved the WWII decor, antiques, and vintage advertising!

My husband and I spent a night and we were sad we couldn't stay longer. The place was stunning and very clean (not even a speck of dust could be seen). Check-in was flexible and a breeze. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. But what really made our stay special was Pat, the host. She was so warm and hospitable. She shared all the fascinating history of the home with us and even surprised us with a tour of the whole building. She has such a gift for story-telling and history and was very knowledgeable. She's the type of person I could sit and listen to all day. Apparently, she is restoring another histporical beaut of a home, the Greystone Manor, and we can't wait to stay there when it opens.

Nice rooms, friendly staff, good bartender. it's a little old feeling, and not great bed linens, but it's perfectly good for most purposes

The Pump House Inn was extremely clean. Grateful to have experienced such a unique place to stay. We spent most of the time out and about so we didn’t get to utilize all of the amenities but 10/10 nonetheless.

Excellent location. Close to everything. I recommend having a car or using a ride service. It’s a busy area not conducive for walking. The hotel was higher class and luxury. The cookies at check in were amazing. It’s a bit cumbersome if you have a pet with logistics, entrances and elevators. However pets are accepted. Host were communicating and friendly. Price was amazing. Will stay again without dogs.

We enjoyed our stay very much the front desk. He was very polite the whole time very understandable. The room was very clean very spacious just as described on the pictures. We truly enjoyed our staying. The staff was completely amazing. The breakfast was phenomenal. Everything was perfect. If we can have this trip again we would definitely book here once again.

Hotel was very clean and within 10 mins of everything downtown. Would check out again if back in the area.

The room was nice and big, good for three people for a night. There was a lot of things to do at the hotel and it’s about 20 minutes from downtown. Definitely recommend

Beautiful grounds and lovely clean room. Close to nearby attractions. We enjoyed making a fire by the creek in the evening in the big stone fire pit, watching the fly fisherman, and listening to the live music--the band was great! We went to the nearby Children's Lake and hiked the Appalachian Trail. Make sure to make reservations if you plan to eat at the on-site restaurant! Downtown Carlisle is also only 15 minutes away with lots of dining, arts, and entertainment options.

Wonderful place with beautiful surroundings, the room is great and the sun room is gorgeous. The house is charming and we would certainly stay here again. We arrived late on a day before our reservation, totally a mistake on our part. Luckily the room was already ready and Arthur was so kind to let us stay anyway. Would recommend to anyone who is considering staying in the area.

Jennifer’s home was clean, spacious, and had a fun, eclectic charm! The unique decor made for a memorable stay, and everything was well-maintained. She was also very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Parking was a little tricky at times, and the street is quite busy with 18-wheelers, but Jennifer thoughtfully provided a sound machine in each room, which completely drowned out the noise at night. Plus, all of the beds were VERY comfortable! Overall, a great experience—highly recommend staying here!

Terry was helpful. She showed up right away when we arrived to help us check in. The space was very clean and worked perfectly for our 3 (partial) families. We did have blizzard-like conditions while there so it was perfect to have a cozy place to relax during the wild weather. We did use the whole house and each space was well-appointed and very clean. Thanks, Terry!

Ragu was an amazing host that allows you to feel right at home. Very relaxing getaway with a private secluded sauna and jacuzzi under beautiful landscapes of the sky.

The furniture is unique ( hand made). beautiful. The king size bed was amazing, very comfortable and new mattress. It was very relaxing to stay at Kathleen's place. Deffently will book at the Lodge again. Also, the people sharing the others room very friendly and felt Conformable.

Definitely would stay here again! The room looked just like the photos and is perfect for a couple! Also he was right the italian restaurant was very good especially the garlic bread! Def book for a quick stay :)

The basic accommodations were very clean and cozy. Make sure you have a flashlight if you’re arriving when it’s dark. The ground on the way to the door is uneven.
