Get some real R&R at this hidden gem, Port Hood Island’s only AirBnB. Arrive by boat which was a great adventure to kick off the trip. Hop around the trails and beaches in the golf cart which also handles luggage and supplies. The house is well-stocked with a thousand pieces of decor to remind you of the island’s fishing history. The charm of a well-built, well-loved Cape Breton home with some original doors, cabinets along with some modern upgrades. Dishes, housewares, appliances and furniture were more than enough for a small crowd. Lots of sofas to gather round, one table for games, another for dining and a third patio table on the deck with the most peaceful view. The only screen you’ll need is sunscreen (but Starlink is onsite for rainy days). The beds and linens were comfy, the bedrooms were spacious. New windows and an open concept made the space bright with spectacular views from all sides. You’ll never find a better host. Agnes was caring, helpful and felt like family.

My family spent one week at Yves cottage and loved it! The cottage had everything we needed and my children loved all the toys and games. The view was amazing and we loved kayaking around the bay. Yves was very quick to respond to any questions I had and was very helpful

The little cabin on a breathtaking PE beach had absolutely everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly even though it was unseasonably cold and rainy most days. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the warm summer months. We walked the dunes, visited light houses (one just a 1/2 hour walk down the beach), experienced a Nor’Easter gale, golfed a world class course (10 minute drive) on a glorious sunny afternoon, visited the Green Gable historic sites and soaked in the big tub after shopping in Charlottetown (40 minutes away). A holiday to remember fondly. We have already recommended Brian’s BnB to other members of our family.

Nous avons passé une semaine à ce beau gîte mon conjoint, ma fille de 16 ans et son amoureux. Nous avons été charmés par l’endroit, la propreté et les commodités. Très bien équipé avec tout ce qu’on a besoin! Situé à quelques minutes seulement de marche d’une magnifique plage privée. J’ai pu admirer de beaux couchers de soleil. J’y retournerais sans hésiter!

Our stay at William's place was amazing for us. It had everything we would asked for. Great view of ocean from windows and while eating on deck. The cottage is outside any major towns by about 30 minutes which we knew so we planned our day trips accordingly. That being said the house was very close to ocean and many beaches and parks and trails which was fabulous. William was an amazing host if we had any questions or concerns he was super responsive in handling any concerns. Top notch host for sure would highly recommend this home for anyone thinking about this place.

A large spacious Lodge is in a beautiful location. It was perfect for our large group. It really fit our team event . If you use GPS , it will take you to cottage next door, don't ignore the sign on the tree that says Lodge and 137 JR lane like we did . lol

Sam and John's place was just what we were looking for. It was close to Wentworth Ski Hill, but also off the beaten path with lots of quiet and privacy. The house was beautiful, clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Best part was the friendliness and responsiveness of the hosts, they answered every question we had right away and were always available during our stay. Highly recommend this place for friends and family!

A great private quiet haven to relax and enjoy nature. An evening by the fire with the water close by was amazing … super comfortable beds with comfortable heat/cool just a great spot , we’ll be back !

We had a great long week-end. The main room is great with a big open space. With all the wide windows, we could enjoy the sun rising in the confort of the main room, lying on day beds. We really enjoyed the space. Perfect for relaxing.

Very enjoyable stay. Beautiful surroundings. Peaceful. Short drive to wonderful beaches. Groceries not far. Chalet was comfortable and clean. Hosts very helpful. Would recommend.

So peaceful and quiet, it was just what we needed. Beautiful country side, and only 20 minutes to most things we enjoyed, The Blue Mussel and Chez Evonne's were great places to eat. The owners were never on our doorstep, but right handy when we needed anything. Thanks for one awesome vacation John, Charlene and family!

Nous avons loué le chalet pour un week-end à la plage et c’était parfait!! Tout est super beau, autant à l’extérieur qu’à l’intérieur. C’est un endroit avec beaucoup de charme, et l’accès à la plage se fait super bien à pieds. Nous avons adoré, c’était au dessus de nos attentes!

Derek's place is a perfect authentic chalet with modern amenities in a beautiful natural setting. Inside was spotless and had everything we might need. Our dog was happy to play in the nearby stream and watch the birds flying to the feeders. It was a great base for visiting Guysborough and Antigonish/New Glasgow.

Es war einfach fantastisch! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und haben wirklich nichts vermisst. Wie wurden herzlich begrüßt und es blieben keine Fragen offen. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur jedem empfehlen und würde Sie direkt wieder buchen!

Amazing location!! Cottage was perfect!! Everything we needed for a week stay was included. The private beach was perfect was long walks searching for sea glass!!

We were here during the month of October 2021. For weather in October, it was incredible and being here close to the water made it even better. Cap Pele itself is a pleasant little town and it seems that most people speak both French and English. We did a lot of walking and there is plenty of opportunity to do it here, especially along the beach with its views of the water. Sometimes thought I was in an Alex Colville painting.

Chris's home is truly a slice of heaven! we spent a week in this beautiful chalet on a private beach. We use Airbnb a lot and this house and location was one of our favorite. SO peaceful and relaxing,SO comfortable and beautiful, really felt like home away from home for our large family. Right off the Cabot trail, we were able to take day trips around Cape Breton Island and enjoy everything the area had to offer. Chris was super helpful and communication was quick and easy. HIGHLY recommend this Airbnb!

We had a wonderful little getaway at Marie’s. The place is unique and lovely, true to the photos. Warm, clean and with a really cozy beachy vibe. The view of the water is unmatched and it was very private. We went probably in off-season, in March and it was starkly beautiful. It was such a treat to have the hot tub and the bath. The place also has some fun tech properties to it. We loved that we could cook in the kitchen and watch a show on the mounted tv in the kitchen that can swivel. The bed is really comfortable, which is actually kind of rare in our experience. Marie and Angela took great care of us and were very responsive. As a queer couple this was a safe stay 🌈

Christine is a wonderfully attentive host. She left us a welcoming note and remembered that we were celebrating our 50th anniversary. That made us feel as though we were being welcomed as friends. We couldn't have chosen a more lovely place to call home in New Brunswick. And walking to Ephraim Island across the tidal flat was lots of slippery, muddy fun!

An absolutely beautiful cottage on the water. Beautiful views and very calming. A fantastic place to stay.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour! Tout était très propre, et respect des commodités annoncés. Le chalet était très bien décoré, et chaleureux, ce qui rendait notre séjour des plus agréable. Nous avons également adoré l’intimité de la deuxième chambre (cabanon). Nous recommandons sans aucun doute! Tout était parfait (et que dire des magnifiques coucher de soleil auxquels nous avons assisté du chalet). Merci Marie-Josée et Gaëtan.

Excellent séjour, le chalet était très confortable, l’air climatisé était un plus. C’est la première fois que les photos correspondent vraiment à ce que nous avons eu. Ce qui nous avons aimé le plus, c’est la vue incroyable. Beaucoup d’activités et de restaurants à proximité. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.
