Macedo de Cavaleiros: aluguéis por temporada com café da manhã

La estancia en casa de Adelaide fue genial. La casa era increíble, todo muy nuevo y cuidado. El lugar es muy tranquilo y se descansa muy bien, la cama es absolutamente cómoda. La recepción por parte de Adelaide y su marido realmente fantástica, son unas personas encantadoras, nos informaron de pueblos para visitar, sitios donde comer y nos acompañaron a visitar la basílica de Outeiro. Nos acogieron con una cálida bienvenida y con productos para desayunar. Nos facilitaron una hora de entrada y de salida flexible. Son unos grandes anfitriones. muchas gracias por todo! Lo recomiendo 100%, sin lugar a dudas.

I can truly say that this was the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. (And I experienced a lot of Air Bnbs). Puri and Paulo made me feel so welcome. I was traveling alone and after Porto I really wanted to see the Douro Valley and the vineyards. This was the best decision. The whole Douro area is just stunning and definitely worth a visit. And Puri's house makes it just perfect. After a long drive through the Douro Valley, Puri and Paulo welcomed me with delicious cheese and ham and most of all very tasty red wine and a 43 year old port. The best port wine I have ever drunk. In the morning I jogged around the village and it was just beautiful, in the evening they showed me the bakery of the village where they sell bread only in the evening and it was so nice. All the recommendations Puri and Paulo gave me were perfect and I enjoyed my trip through the valleys to the fullest. My room and bathroom were very clean and the backyard was just beautiful and a perfect place to relax. They showed me their wine cellar and where they make the delicious jam we had for breakfast every morning. All of Puri's food is super delicious and worth trying. Once I'm back in Portugal I will definitely go back there and can highly recommend a stay here! Many thanks to Puri and Paulo for being so welcoming. In German there is the term "Gastfreundschaft", a combination of guest and friendship. And that is what I found here. Thank you very much!

Anfitriã muito simpática. Fomos muito bem recebidos. Deu-nos indicações importantes sobre a zona. Teve a cortesia de nos preparar um café caseiro com uma torrada de pão local. Zona muito calma boa para descansar. Foi uma boa experiência.

The place is stunning and a perfect get away. Very peaceful with an amazing view and amazing breakfast! The instructions to find the Quinta were clear and after a first confusion in the town easy to find (just follow the signs). The dirt road leading there was a bit scary at first, but was perfectly fine. Deri welcomed us and gave some great recommendations for restaurants in the neighboring towns (would have loved to try the dinner in house but wasn’t available at the time), which we tried and loved. Wifi didn’t reach our room, but we didn’t mind that too much. We would definitely come back to relax and enjoy more of the surrounding area.

Beautiful area and perfect place to stay if you’re needing rest and refreshment after a long travel. Ana was more than helpful despite. Despite our language barrier we got by using the App and Google translate when face to face. Very pleased and will use again next time I’m in the area.

Cidalia’s place was outstanding. Beautiful room, and amazing views. Gorgeous pool right above Douro. Dary Cidalia’s son was super helpful with every small request. He is a chef, and the breakfast he served was not only delicious with a huge variety, but also beautifully served. Hemos pasado unos días maravillosos en la Quinta de Santa Marinha. Un lugar para volver. Sus anfitriones Deri y su madre Cidalia han sido impecables y muy amables. Su ubicación en lo alto de la montaña con vistas al Duero es espectacular. Encantados con sus desayunos y su piscina infinita. Una habitación amplia y con vistas. Muy confortable. Restaurantes y súper a 10 minutos en el pueblo de Alijó. Volveremos. Obrigados.
