The place was gorgeous and SUPER convenient. Right in the middle of downtown. Great shops, restaurants and bars all within a block or 2. If you want to be right in the middle of all the excitement, this is the place for you. However, if you're hoping for a quiet weekend, you may want to opt for something a little further off the beaten path. It was very loud at night with all the people outside. The apartment itself was very clean, neatly kept, and clearly recently renovated. There were cozy blankets deposited throughout and the chairs by the front window were nice for people watching with coffee in the morning. The host was helpful with very clear instructions and directions as well as local recommendations.

Spent a weekend here for a girls’ getaway! The location is PERFECT! We found parking right outside the door and didn’t have to move it all weekend. The apartment is adorable. We didn’t hear anything from downstairs at all. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Raechelle's home was very lovely- just like the photos! The centralized location made it so easy to walk to all of the downtown stores and restaurants. Parking was a breeze just a short distance down from the unit. We loved the numerous churches, museums, shops and amazing restaurants and chic bars located so closely. The area was very quiet at night with little to no traffic. Kitchen amenities offered coffee or tea in the morning and everything we needed to prepare meals. We are looking forward to returning when the weather is a little warmer (and less rainy) so we can experience more fun adventures!

We truly enjoyed everything about our stay! Being centrally located in Galena we found ourselves exploring downtown but also having plenty of time to enjoy our place. We loved the fireplace, steam shower, the fresh water station and of course how adorable the place was decorated! We look forward to our next visit!

5 Stars We stayed at this penthouse over the weekend with our group of 4 adults and 4 kids, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! The location is amazing, the space is beautifully decorated, clean, and very spacious—perfect for a family getaway. A few things to note: While the place was clean, we did find some crumbs under the bed and couch as kids get into things, but it wasn’t a big deal for us. The biggest challenge was the very steep stairs leading up to the penthouse—there’s no elevator, so carrying luggage up and down was quite difficult. Additionally, noise from outside was noticeable, so if you’re visiting during a busy season and have light sleepers, it could be an issue. Another minor inconvenience was that the assigned parking spot was often taken by random cars, which made parking tricky at times. Despite these small challenges, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future!

We had a lovely stay here. Very spacious apartment with lots of windows and light. Everything you need is right there on Main in Galena. The people were very nice. We enjoyed the restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay there again.

Was a very nice place to stay. A few steps but great exercise! Well done apartment, only thing was that there could of been a few extra towels. Good thing we only stayed 2 days or we would of had to do laundry. Would stay again.

We will be back! The suite was easy to find, very accessible to Galena's very walkable downtown, yet felt very private. The cleanliness was 10/10. The space itself was inviting and comfortable. The multiple master suites made for a very comfortable stay, and the bright, inviting kitchen, dining and living rooms made it a joy to relax between trips spent wandering the downtown area. A fantastic experience overall!

This is a great house, equipped with everything you could need, and is especially nice for staying with multiple couples because everyone has a bathroom.

Great location for us as the relatives we were visiting is walking distance which was perfect! We all loved the sunken fireplace sitting area and had never seen one before. The house was stocked with everything we needed or wanted and was very clean a d tidy. Even tho the Mississippi River was frozen, the view was spectacular ~ we didn't see Eagles but I'm sure they are there! We plan on coming back in the fall for color and eagle watching! Do not hesitate to book!!

Stayed here with family. Easy to find. Quiet. Layout worked out well. 3 bathrooms! Able to block off stairs. traveled with a senior dog with a bad knee. Kitchen had anything we needed. Relaxing after a day at Chesnut Mountain. Beds comfortable, bathrooms spotless. husband enjoyed the puzzle ball game. Nicely decorated to reflect the holiday season!

Cannot describe the words this amazing place made us feel! Such a peaceful beautiful cabin to stay in! My cousins and I enjoyed the stayed here and will most definitely come back! Alexander was very nice and made this whole stay even better by providing easy instructions for us! Beautiful scenery and Galena has a lot of touristic stuff to do! Beautiful home. Clean and wonderful amenities. Peaceful stay utilizing hot tub, firepit and porches. Doreen was very attentive throughout stay. We enjoyed the "extras " such as the Owners Club. Highly recommend!

Our family had a fantastic job at Dan's place. The location is great - close enough to the Eagle Ridge Inn and Owners Club, but very private location with a beautiful view of the lake. The unit had everything we need and was much larger than the pictures made it seem. Galena had great shopping and restaurants. Galena Territory Owners Club indoor pool was perfect for the kids. I'd recommend staying here anytime we make it back to Galena Territory!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. It's a 10 min drive from downtown Galena in a quiet wooded area with paved trails that you can take to the nearby amenities. The place was clean, quiet, and the bathtub was amazing! The gym and indoor/outdoor pool are very nice but about 1.5 miles from the condo which wasn't stated anywhere (or at least not anywhere we saw) and was a little disappointing but overall wasn't a huge deal. The restaurant is a short walk through the trails or you can drive to it. It's right next door. Also, the initial message you get after booking with the rules and asking to email them out of the app was a little daunting and not normal for Airbnb bookings. It just had a less "homey" experience that you expect from Airbnb. It made me slightly nervous but after everything I would certainly stay here again.

Very pleased with our first airbnb experience! Comfortable. Spacious. Fully-equipped kitchen. Especially enjoyed the view of the lake, wildlife, and the sunsets. A perfect place to relax and unplug for a few days. Debbie was extremely responsive throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed.

Absolutely amazing stay in Galena! We felt right at home. It was a perfect distance away from downtown, which was easily driveable, and absolutely quiet surroundings. We had everything we needed and was a great set up! Great communication with host and detailed responses about restaurant recommendations, directions to the home and check out instructions. Absolutely a must stay when traveling to Galena!

The place is about 5 miles from Galena but not a bad drive to town. If possible, stay in a suite that has a view. Beautiful to wake up to & star gaze at night. The pool is big, the hot tub is hot, the fitness center is well-equipped, & the kid's rec room also. The lobby is huge with a nice fireplace. The suites are large & like a nice, small apartment. It was fun going thru the many shops downtown. Make sure you take some time to tour Galena's many beautiful old homes & buildings. Visit the visitors center by the river in the old depot & have breakfast or lunch across the street at Ottos'. Love this town!

Had a wonderful stay at Barbra’s place. Very inviting an well decorated, beautiful view over the Mississippi River where we viewed gorgeous sun rises and hunter moon reflection over the water. Highly recommend staying at Barbra’s place if your travel’s bring you to this area.
