I was after a peaceful and comfortable place that I could enjoy both inside and outside. This was the perfect location! Inside was cozy, well equipped, and felt safe. Outside was beautiful and comfortable. Truly met every one of my expectations.

Fran’s place is an absolute treasure! The location is unbeatable—perfectly situated near the Warm Springs, the Omni Homestead’s amenities, and a variety of elegant dining options. The cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bath unit, complete with a kitchenette and living room, had everything we needed. Fran truly thought of every detail, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. The creative, whimsically chic décor added a delightful touch of charm. Fran herself was an exceptional hostess, full of local knowledge and kindness. Her dining recommendations were spot-on, and her tips for visiting the Warm Springs and exploring the area were invaluable. It was clear she’s well-loved by the local community, and her warmth made our visit even more special. We can’t wait to return in the spring to enjoy more golf at the Homestead and try Fran’s other suggestions. The apartment was spacious and nicely appointed with everything needed for a short getaway. Susan communicated timely information and instructions for checkin and checkout. A very pleasant place to stay when visiting Staunton.

It was a pleasant stay. We liked having a full kitchen and a great view from the bedroom (of course it was winter so may not be the same when there's leaves on the trees). It was walkable to every where we wanted to go. Loved the convenience of parking and getting in and out of the place.

Fun weekend trip! I was in Staunton for a show at the American Shakespeare Center and stayed an extra day to explore the area. It just happened to be opening weekend for the farmer's market as well as the start of the outdoor shopping/dining season on Beverley Street. Martha's place is the perfect central location for exploring this very walkable town - I enjoyed seeing the Woodrow Wilson Museum (and garden in the back with lots of spring flowers blooming), Mary Baldwin campus, Trinity Church, etc. Martha's apartment is so comfy and clean, and has all the amenities. The bed is amazingly comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and the living room couch/tv setup is nice for relaxing with a show or movie in the evening. There are so many little touches throughout the apartment that let you know that Martha has thought of everything to make her guests feel at home. I can't say enough about this charming place and wonderful host!

This was our second time staying at Drennen Ridge! Trish and Mike made sure we had everything we needed before we arrived including age appropriate toys for our toddler and a pack and play for our 4 month old. Our toddler enjoyed spending time outside and we were comfortable throughout our stay. This is a very peaceful place with beautiful surroundings and we hope to stay again sometime!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Courtney’s place in Snowshoe! The location was perfect, offering easy access to the slopes and nearby amenities. The space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Courtney was a wonderful host—responsive, accommodating, and thoughtful throughout our visit. We especially appreciated the little touches that made us feel right at home. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future. Thanks again for a great experience!

Loved our stay here. Plenty of room for guys on a fishing trip with 4 bedrooms. Janie was super friendly and left us cereal and milk, coffee, and condiments in the kitchen. Everything was clean and there were plenty of towels and soap in the bathroom. Location is great for fishing the North Fork, and only 30 min from the Glady Fork and Shavers Fork. Also recommend the Gateway restaurant down the road for some good home cooking. Will likely stay here again!

Adorable, rustic home very nicely restored with modern convenience. Great location, very walkable to downtown restaurants and street parking was not problem. Neither street on either side of the house was busy at all. If using the main bedroom, grab the white noise maker if it is cool outside. The strip heater in the bedroom clicked all night. The place is quite old but heats quickly so you may not need them. Very responsive host and great communication. I'll be back! ❤️

Perfect for our quick trip to Crozet & Wintergreen Resort. Wonderful location, close to Gas Station/Convenience Store, Wintergreen Lobby, and Slopes. Everything was exactly as expected. Comfortable bed and easy access to streaming services and Wifi. Will definitely consider staying here again for future trips to the area. Thanks so much!

Bill was hands down the best host I’ve ever had, super down to earth and just an all around great guy and host. We went snowboarding just about all week and had an absolute blast. I would recommend this place to my friends and family any day. Even though our vacation hit a few bumps Bill was extremely accommodating and helpful even though he didn’t have to be. Hoping to come back again next year if he’ll have us. 10/10 would recommend this stay.

My son and I really enjoyed the stay in Sarah’s place. Easily walkable to the lift, just up the road from the village, and beautiful views from the from porch. Comfortable and quiet.

Adam is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and accommodating. I loved that they gave a pet friendly home and that allowed us to bring our furr baby. His home is definitely a home away from home. I highly recommend and will use again in the future.

Beautiful home, responsive and helpful host. Wonderful place to stay for our family of 4 with everything you'd need in a home away from home. We loved it and would absolutely stay here again - as a bonus for the early risers the sunrise over the mountains was amazing.

Anna’s place was the perfect size and location for 2 adults and 3 kids. The triple bunk beds are fun and cute. The place was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. The kids loved all the board games and the 2 hot tubs right outside our door! It was also super easy and convenient to walk down to the Soaring Eagle lift and get right on the slopes. Highly recommend!
