Absolutely stunning home on the canals in the heart of Amsterdam. Close to everything that we needed, incredible location; sitting drinking a tea ( or a glass of wine) watching the boats go past on the canals became a pass time for us during the stay. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful central location to explore Amsterdam. We will absolutely be booking here again when next visit Amsterdam.

We had a very pleasant stay! Jose is a very kind and generous woman - she brought us breakfast twice, gave us an overview of many things we could do in the area, and was always very quick with responses. The place was clean and had everything as described. Zaanse Schans is a really wonderful place with lots of things to see and do. Would definitely recommend!!!

Great place to stay! Very quiet area, very clean Airbnb, it’s equipped with everything you need. Parking in front of the house is super convenient and for free. Checkin / out was super easy, Jean was very supportive / flexibel with the timings. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful and perfectly located. The rental had everything needed, Judith even made up a cot for our 6 month old which was great and saved us travelling with a lot more luggage! The location gave access to all restaurants, cafes and bars and a night in with take out pizza was just perfect. I have recommended this property to everyone since returning and I will definitely be booking again if this rare find is available! Tahier is a perfect host, he is very helpful, friendly and kind person. His space, in the center of Amsterdam, is cozy and beautiful and one of the cleanest space I’ve never been so far. Highly recommended space !!!

Joanna and MP were the perfect hosts. It’s no surprise they are rated superior on Airbnb. MP not only accepted our bags early (so we could run off to a food tour) but brought the bags upstairs to help us get settled in. And hauling those bags up Amsterdam stairs is no easy feat. The listing accommodated three of us, with two rooms for sleeping. And the location couldn’t be beat, near public transportation and canals with restaurants, bars, shopping scattered in between. We felt safe and had the perfect home base while adventuring in and around Amsterdam. Thank you again!

It is an excellent spot. The space is small but incredibly well-organized: large desk, kitchen area, (three!) chairs and many thoughtful touches from games, to books, to stove top, microwave and fridge. I do understand it would be too small for a couple on an extended stay, but it would work well for two people in general. For me (alone) it was more convenient than many larger hotel rooms. The earlier reviews mentioning being used for storage or being dusty have clearly been taken seriously. The space was spotless and nothing was being stored there. Communication is perfect, the bus is two minutes away, and amenities are nearby. Highly recommended.

Nous avons séjourné en famille (couple + 3 enfants) pendant 4 nuits chez Cornelis. La maison est très bien équipée et dans un quartier paisible à 5mn en voiture de la superbe plage de Castricum. Nous avons pris le train tous les jours pour nous rendre à Amsterdam (compter environ 30-45mn) et avons vraiment apprécié un retour dans un environnement paisible chaque soir pour souffler un peu. supermarché très correct à proximité er coffee shops sympa en centre ville.

Super airbnb ! l’endroit est facile d’accès en transport (15mn à pied du ferry gratuit), de plus les vélos proposés par Marijke sont d’une grande aide lorsqu’on veut se déplacer en visitant! La chambre est superbe et nous avons adoré passer un week-end dans un endroit aussi romantique☺️ Marijke est une super hôte, disponible et très amicale qui a égayé notre séjour par ses conseils et son accueil ! Si nous revenons à Amsterdam, nous n’hésiterons pas à réserver de nouveau chez elle !

Marjolein çok tatlı bir kadın. Onun enerjisi çok güzel. Evin harika bir manzarası, güzel bir bahçesi var. Ev çok güzel dekore edilmiş. Markete ve tramvaya çok yakın. Yaklaşık 3 dk yürüme mesafesinde. Amsterdam merkez meydanından tramvayla 15 dk uzaklıkta. Biz çok beğendik. Tatil süremiz sona erdiği için sadece 1 gece konaklayabildik. Ama tabiiki yeterli olmadı. Tekrar gitmek istiyoruz. Marjolein’e ilgisinden dolayı çok teşekkür ederiz.

Wir hatten einen wirklich fabelhaften Aufenthalt bei Jolanda! Die Unterkunft ist super ausgestattet, toll gelegen und sehr privat. Schon vor der Anreise war die Kommunikation klasse, daher waren wir nicht überrascht als uns Jolanda vor Ort herzlich empfangen hat. Sie ist wirklich sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit und war jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Man ist von der Unterkunft aus überall schnell zu Fuß, egal ob Dünen, Strand oder Innenstadt. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen und möchten uns nochmals herzlich bei Jolanda für die tolle Zeit bedanken 🩷

Fran was a wonderful host. The attention to detail was so sweet. She left gifts for me, drinks in the fridge and even a toy for my baby as well as baby towels and linen. It was so thoughtful of her. The place was beautiful, clean and everything we needed. Check in was very easy and Fran was very responsive, even when we arrived late due to flights. Parking right out front was easy. The place had everything we needed (even a great hairdryer that someone mentioned wasn’t there in a previous review.) when arriving so we didn’t have to think about anything. You couldn’t ask for more. Thank you Fran for your hospitality and we would happily stay again when visiting Amsterdam and our family nearby.

We loved our Amsterdam trip and Ellen's place was great. It is small, but still great for starting and finishing your day during exploring the city. We love the terrace and would love to come back!

A great stay just outside of Amsterdam with a friendly & helpful host. A good spot for anyone looking to do day trips outside of Amsterdam (e.g. Edam, Zaanse Schans, etc.) as transit is easy from this location. Jeroen even came to pick us up from the train station upon arrival which was above and beyond! Our kids had fun at the little playground right outside the flat and the neighbourhood is pretty and clean. Groceries are literally a 5 minute walk away - very easy. Clean and comfortable beds for sleeping. Would book again. Thanks Jeroen!

Très bon accueil de Johan. Réactif pour répondre à nos questions. Logement propre et agréable. Correspond parfaitement à la description. Au calme, bel endroit autour. A 15 min d'Amsterdam en bus, très pratique.

The place was perfect for my parents to stay for a week while visiting us. Everything they needed and it’s in a peaceful area with a nice view on a beautiful garden! Ilan is a great host and makes everything for you to feel home!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Hilde&Bram, das Airbnb ist gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen, ebenso ist Amsterdam Central nicht weit. Bei unserer Ankunft hat uns Hilde sehr freundlich empfangen, das Airbnb ist wirklich sehr schön, vorallem die Sonnenaufgänge und die Lage direkt am Wasser. Würden wir aufjedenfall weiterempfehlen:)

Great apartment in Amsterdam - lovely location short walk to all the highlights! Very spacious, great for three girls sharing but would have been well enough space for four people. Lots of nice touches like tea of all kinds, coffee and waffles! Thank you for being great hosts!

Dana and Rotem are very hospitable, always ready to help even if it means going out of their way. I enjoyed myself in their apartment.
