très bel acceuil, tres simple d'accès. hôtes agréables et réactifs. la chambre fait bien son job, il y a aussi un frigo et un micro onde pour ceux qui veulent rester plusieurs jours. le seul bémol est le bruit de la route. mais j'ai l'oreille un peu sensible. Je recommande !

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the area. The host was exceptionally kind and welcoming, providing us with plenty of helpful tips about local attractions and hidden gems—we truly learned so much and benefited greatly from their insights. The room was spotless, well-organized, and very comfortable. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, making us feel right at home. Overall, it was a perfect experience, and we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!

Gästehauszimmer ist ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Bus (Nr.55) vom Flughafen Keflavik zu erreichen. Von der Bushaltestelle nochmals ca. 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß. Unterkunft ist hübsch eingerichtet mit allem Notwendigem was man benötigt. Gastgeber wohnt im unteren Stockwerk. Oben gibt es vier Gästezimmer und zwei gemeinschaftliche saubere Badezimmer. Eine gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche mit Lebensmitteln für ein Frühstück sind im Gartenhaus untergebracht. Ruhige Gegend mit Minimarket und Fastfoodläden. Selbstständiger CheckIn mit Türcode. Karren, die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Perfekte Unterkunft vor oder nach einem Islandflug.

Das Zimmer bei Gudrun war perfekt. Es ist ausreichend groß und hat Zugang zu einem Balkon. Die Küche und das Bad werden gemeinsam genutzt, was aber kein Problem ist. Das Frühstück fanden wir super. Gudrun ist sehr freundlich und hat uns viel über die Gegend und Island erzählt. Wir würden es wieder buchen.

This venue is very good. The hosts are very informative and give you all the attention you require. Their two assistants are also friendly, but as they have 4 legs and a tail (cat & small dog), they only come to you for company on occasions. They are well trained and will not bother you. The accommodation is large enough, and all amenities to make light meals are provided, plus there is a coffee maker ! It is placed just north of the capital, so it is easily found and is not too far from the airport. Overall this was an ideal opportunity to be next to local people who can assist you, but you also have your own floor of the building to yourself. The hosts offer various ideas for days out, and they print off A4 guides for you to take with you. The photo and video gallery they have is quite extesive, and their personal recordings of visits to the volcanos can be seen on request. Birgir and Björg offer a very friendly service, I fully recommend this option!

This is a perfect location if you want to stay in the center of the city. Everything is within walking distance. The room was beautiful and clean. The bathroom was tiny but served its purpose. It can stay loud until late due to location but closing the window blocked out most of the noise. It was a great stay!

Cosy room, only a few minutes walk into town, couldn’t fault it! Arna was friendly, pretty much had the space to myself

Excellent location but parking is difficult especially if you’re toting luggage. Expect to find a side street about 5 blocks away. The bed was outstanding!

Ravis d'avoir choisi la maison de Birgir pour notre séjour. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Birgir est toujours prêt à donner des infos sur son pays ainsi que des conseils. Nous reviendrons sans hésitations et recommandons.

C’était parfait pour ensuite commencer la journée suivante au blue lagoon! Tout ok, rien à redire, au top!
