We had a great stay at Gill’s cottage. Gill kindly let us stay at short notice, everything was perfect. Lovely, peaceful location and the hot tub was really nice! Would definitely again.

A lovely stay in a beautiful location. The apartment had top quality furnishings and fittings, was comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped with plenty of tea and coffee. We loved the balcony and window seat from which we read our books and watched the world go by. There’s an on-site Leisure Club which looked great though we didn’t use it on this occasion other than for a good meal in the Deck where staff were very friendly. We enjoyed a trip to Burgh Island on the sea tractor for lunch and Afternoon Tea and what a treat! Staff were delightful, the food and drinks delicious and the decor superb! With good walks on the doorstep and easy access to the beach this is an ideal place to visit at any time of year. Christopher and Tanya were excellent hosts, gave clear access instructions and responded quickly to our queries. Thank you once again and hope to return one day:) Roger & Jennette

Stayed for a few days with my partner. Really needed some down time and where better than the middle of Dartmoor! Coincided with some beautiful weather so we were happy to make use of the lovely hot tub. We enjoyed exploring, climbed a couple of tors, rested up...and discovered that the Plume of Feathers in Princetown does a very nice takeaway pizza. Hols was very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. A lovely break.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was a bit of a risk to book this sort of accommodation in late Feb/ early March due to the outside temperature but we were pleasantly surprised but they stocked up well on logs for the fire and hot tub as well as the much needed electric blankets on the beds. I would recommend bringing layers though and slippers as the floor is cold and it takes a little time in the morning for the logs to heat the accommodation again.

We booked for my husband's 60th and had friends join us. The cottage was perfect, spotlessly clean, loads of space so didn't feel we were on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils and everything even down to a food processor should you need it. The pool table and dart board was a hit with my 15 year son and the hot tub was great, even sat in it whilst it was -1 outside. All in all we had a great weekend chilling. Definitely will be back. The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

Beautiful spot with wonderful views. Very peaceful. We were unlucky with the weather one day, but that didn't detract from the charm of the place

The cottage has been beautifully renovated and is in the middle of nowhere, the view from the hot tub of an evening is exquisite.... The layout is warm and spacious but also with plenty of outside space and walks. Nicky was very helpful prior to check in with very clear instructions, also very quick to help where needed during our stay. On our trip to the cottage we came across a herd of deer which started the magic... We will hopefully return

Lovdly place for a post Christmas break. The Barn had everything we needed and was warm and cosy. Great location for visiting this area of Devon.

I can only echo what others have said- it truly is magical! I loved everything about the house, the wooden doors, the art work, the rugs, the smell (like old leather and graphite)! The kitchen was well equipped, which is rare for an airbnb, and made cooking easy. Only wish I could have stayed longer. Thanks to Michael and Julie for sharing their beautiful home.

Martinsfield Cottage was a great stay. Heather provided plenty of towels, suitable provisions for tea, coffee etc.. The cottage itself was clean tidy and extremely welcoming. Would definitely consider staying again, or even suggesting to others.

We had a fantastic week, the house was perfect for our family, the rooms were huge and the location and views were stunning. There's so many lovely places to visit within a short drive. I couldn't recommend the house and hosts highly enough.

Lovely little place in a great area. Very peaceful and beautiful. The house has everything you could possibly need for a long stay and we very much enjoyed it. Peter was very helpful and responded to our questions straight away. Would definitely recommend it 👌

Richard and Mo were great hosts and provided us with all the information required to meet our expectations. Richard met us on arrival and it was lovely to have the basics for breakfast provided for each morning, which was an added surprise and very welcomed. This facility was perfect for my wife as she has mobility issues, and the Airbnb is all on one level with walk-in shower, so made moving around was made so much easier. We would highly recommend staying here, and will look to rebook for our next visit to Devon.

We had a lovely stay at Emma’s. The place is so well equipped for adults and children. Our two couldn’t believe how many toys there were! The apartment was very clean, with a lovely terrace and view. It’s opposite a fantastic Italian restaurant and close to the beautiful beach of Blackpool Sands, which has a great cafe/resturant. Emma was very quick to respond to our queries. We have already recommended this place to friends and we would love to come back when the sun is shining!

Andrea's place is in a great location - close to the centre of Wellington but private and peaceful. The property is spacious, well furished, and has all the facilities you need for a very comfortable stay. Andrea communicated well with us and provided very detailed instructions for accessing the property. We would definitely like to return if we are in the area in future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the pictures do not do this place justice, as it is much bigger than the pictures show. The annex was very clean and spotless. Ian & Katka (Hosts) were very proactive, friendly and welcoming and went the extra mile. The swimspa and hot tub are an absolute amazing feature of the property along with the balcony and views. We would highly recommend and would love to visit again.

We stayed over the Christmas week. It’s always a worry as to whether there will be sharp knives, enough trays while cooking Christmas dinner etc but I need not have worried as there was everything we could possibly have wanted. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and all items were clean, good quality and plentiful. The whole property was very comfortable, warm and spacious. Outside areas were accessed by the grandchildren, they enjoyed a daily swim. The system for booking is excellent. We managed to have a brief game on the tennis court and the children had a little time in the play hut and on the equipment. The zip line was a real hit. It would be lovely to be able to return when the weather would allow more use of the great outdoor facilities. Laura and Richard are great hosts. Brilliant communication prior to arriving. A great in person welcome too on arrival. We hope to return and can highly recommend Mullen at Pitt farm

Absolutely pristine condition, so clean and beds were really comfortable. Easy check in and excellent value for money. Will definitely book again!!

The views are spectacular on three sides. We really liked it, spotlessly clean, well equipped and great value.

lovely stay, place was better than the photos made it look. beds were very comfy. Iona was very responsive. would recommend to friends and family.

We were a multi generation family group and wagtail cottage was great for all of us. The younger ones loved the games room and swimming pool. Having 2 babies it was lovely to have the washing machine and tumble dryer

Highlights here are definitely the pool and the play area for the kids. The pool room was super clean and operates on a rota system so you can have it to yourself. Clear directions on the map - dont follow the Satnav as stated. Jonathan was super helpful around check in / check out. Perfect place if you just want a quiet place away from everything!
